MANILA, Philippines - WinAce Holdings Philippines Inc., chairman Teodorico T. Haresco, Jr. announced that Dr. Patrick Alain Azanza, a respected businessman and well known university professor with a post-doctoral degree from Harvard University has accepted to serve as president and chief executive officer of Winsource Solutions Inc., a BPO subsidiary of WinAce Holdings Philippines Inc.
WinAce Holdings Philippines, Inc., is the mother corporation of a group of companies engaged in diversified business undertakings, including Winsource Solutions, Technostrat, Eco-Coral, WinAce Security and Detective Agency, Chaikofi, Winserve Trading, and Boracay Prime, Inc.
Before joining the WinAce group, Azanza served as chief operating officer and chief marketing officer of the AMA Group of Companies where he also rose from vice-president to senior vice president for human resources, eventually becoming COO of the AMA Computer University.
At the University of the Philippines, Azanza served as director of the Human Resources Department and college secretary of the UP School of Labor and Industrial Relations. At UP, he finished Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts, all Major in Sociology, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Administration, all under UP presidential scholarship grants. He capped all these with a post-doctoral program in Education at Harvard University and a Doctor of Jurisprudence at the UP College of Law. He also took up courses in Human Capital Management at the University of California and the Asian Institute of Management (AIM).
Azanza is also a prolific writer who has written no less than seven books on human development and is a recipient of numerous awards and citations.
Dr. Azanza was president of the Mandaluyong Jaycees, a board member of the British Alumni Association, president of the Philippine National E-learning Association, and former chairman of the UP student council. He is a member of the Personnel Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP) and the Philippine Industrial Relations Society (PIRS), to mention a few.
