MANILA, Philippines - Something sweet is happening North of Metro Manila, as Goldilocks continues its impressive store expansion. The country’s number one bakeshop recently unveiled three branches, namely: SM City Baliwag in Bulacan, Montalban Town Center in Rizal, and Paseo de Blas in Malinta, Valenzuela City. At present, Goldilocks has 288 stores — both here and abroad — with approximately 4,000 local employees. As of 2008, they achieved a system-wide sales figure of over P6 billion. The company has likewise been noted for its outstanding franchising program, being named as one of the Philippine Franchise Association’s (PFA) Hall of Fame Awardees.
