Southeast Asia's power utilities experts meet in RP

-

MANILA, Philippines - Many of Southeast Asia’s “who’s who” in power utilities will converge in the Philippines on April 28-29 for a regional workshop that aims to solve power quality problems in this part of the world.

To be held at the Renaissance Makati City Hotel, the two-day conference will be organized by the Copper Industries of Singapore and hosted by the Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers of the Philippines (IIEE).

The participants will come from member-countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).

The workshop aims to provide the participants with a better understanding of the issues and challenges of power quality in power distribution systems, as well as the internal electrical distribution systems in manufacturing industries and buildings and how to manage them. – RAF
