International speaker sets economic briefing in Manila

MANILA, Philippines - Roger Purdue, an international expert on economics and statistics will conduct an economic briefing in Manila on March 19-20 at the PSE brokers’ lounge, 3/F Tower One and Exchange Plaza, Ayala Ave., Makati City from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. on both dates. 

The briefing will focus on “Flow of Funds and Financial Fallout” which will touch on such important questions as to how the US banking crisis can affect Filipinos, or how the global crisis can affect pre-need plans like educational and pension plans and how Filipinos can avoid the effects of the global recession.

The seminar is co-presented by the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) and World Events Inc. (WEI). The event has also been endorsed by the Investment House Association of the Philippines (IHAP) and the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA).

Purdue is the managing director of Global Investment Research Associates, with offices in New York City and Vancouver, Canada.
