Aussie, RP firms tie up for study-work plan

-

A partnership between Australia’s Metropolitan South Institute of Tafe (MSIT) and the Philippines’ Carelink Asia Institute now enables Filipinos to avail themselves of a study-work program and build careers in Australia.

Carelink Asia Institute, a premiere vocational institute in Metro Manila, prepares the Filipino international student for this Study-Work-Career in Australia Program with its local TESDA-registered skills and capability training programs, and by facilitating his entry into Australia, according to Carelink Asia Institute administrator Encarnacion Lat.

Carelink Asia Institute also offers free orientation seminars on this program which are conducted twice a month. The next seminars are set on Nov. 29 at 10 a.m. on Dec. 11 at 1:30 p.m. Interested participants may register by calling telephones 433-0008/382-2619/mobile (0918) 507-5773 or e-mailing [email protected] or visiting www.-carelinkasia.com

Lat said MSIT, an educational institution of the Queensland government, offers a range of nursing, healthcare, business, arts, hospitality, information technology, and horticulture certificate and diploma courses. Filipino International students, she added, enjoy part-time work privileges during the study program.

A two-year Australian study residency, during which certifiable skills and competencies for the Australian work force are gained, earns a 1 1/2 years working visa for the international student after his study program. Lat explained.

Seminar venue is at Carelink Asia Institute at 2/F A. Francisco Gold Condo 1,784 EDSA, QC (between Nepa Q-Mart and Kamias Road – Northbound side of EDSA).
