Unioil allots P90 M for more retail gas stations
Uniol Philippines Inc., one of the country’s leading independent oil players, is investing about P90 million to put up six more retail stations in Metro Manila, a company official said.

Normally, an oil company invests about P10 million to P15 million to construct a medium-sized retail station.
Cue said the company will secure loans to finance these projects.
The Unioil official said they are also studying the possibility of putting up an oil warehouse.
“That is still under study. But that would be part of our medium to long-term strategy,” he said.
Unioil supplies various kinds of fuels for the transport industry, as well as other industrial fuels that provide power and energy for electrical plants, factories and even for kerosene-fed portable lamps.
Major industrial fuel product lines include bunker fuel and diesel oils sold primarily to a diverse range of institutional clients. Heavy users of bunker fuel and diesel oils include the power, steel, cement, paper and textile mills and plants.
Unioil is also a major supplier of the aviation industry as it has successfully penetrated the market by supplying the fuel requirements of both domestic and international carriers.
Other industrial fuels marketed by Unioil include kerosene, unleaded gasoline and diesel, which are marketed through its retail service station network.
