The bulk of the exports came from the 41 private ecozone locators with $19.7 billion, increasing 10.814 percent from the $17.778 billion in the same period last year.
The four public ecozones were able to export $5.997 billion worth of goods for the nine-month period in review, increasing by 12.9 percent from $5.310 billion last year.
The 33 PEZA-registered IT buildings and IT parks, for their part, posted $683.733 million in export of services from January to September this year, surging 124.3 percent from its exports of only $304.810 million in 2005.
The top 10 PEZA-registered export producers for the period in review were Intel Technology Philippines Inc., Texas Instruments Philippines Inc., Amkor Technology Philippines (with two separate locations), Philippine Associated Smelting and Refining Corp. (PASAR), Fujitsu Computer Products Corp. of the Philippines, Cypress Manufacturing Ltd., Toshiba Information Equipment (Philippines), Inc., Panasonic Communications Corp. of the Philippines and American Power Conversion Corp. B.V.
