After almost two decades of existence in the country, HDI Network, formerly High Desert Philippines, will be formally introduced as HDI Network Philippines, Inc. as their new corporate name in October this year.
Kim Subido, HDI Network Philippines, Inc. marketing communications manager, said the change in corporate name is part of a regional directive which was implemented in 2005.
"We have offices and our products are available in other countries like Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia and Hong Kong," Subido said.
She said it is high time for them to introduce changes and a new marketing plan in the Philippines with the advent of the growing health supplement industry in the country.
"We want to tell our customers and members that we are here to offer the purest health supplements. A soft launch of these new initiatives will begin next month. But the major changes will start by early next year," she said.
Part of the new thrust of the company, Subido said, would be the expansion of its target market to tap the younger generation.
"We are tapping young people aged 25-35, particularly the yuppies, who have active lifestyles and want to stay healthy," she said. "We want to create an awareness that if they are going to choose a healthy supplement, our products are here which have all natural ingredients and could fit their lifestyle."
One product, she said, that would best fit the lifestyle of the yuppies, is the Royal Jelly which is recommended for individuals who want to stay healthy, feel young and look young.
"This product is also good for individuals who want to improve their skin condition. Studies showed that consuming royal jelly may improve average lifespan by more than 20 percent. It also strengthens your immune system, better memory, fight fatigue and improve fertility," she said.
Royal Jelly is one of the three best selling products of HDI Network. The two other popular products are Pollenergy and Bee Propolis. To date, the company offers a wide range of products from health supplements, specialty supplements, slimming products, personal care, skin care among others.
According to Subido, the three new products that would be launched to the market in early 2007 will be for adults and kids.
"We would like to tell our customers and members that the health supplements we are offering, are for all ages," she said.
