Sun Cellular has launched an aggressive provincial network expansion to provide enhanced coverage to the growing number of its subscriber base. The move is aimed at delivering quality network reach around the country and secure its position as the fastest growing cellular phone service provider in the Philippines.
Sun Cellular recently strengthened its network coverage in Baguio City and nearby La Trinidad, Benguet. The same expansion is continuing in Cebu City, Cagayan De Oro City, Davao City, Iloilo City, as well as in some of their neighboring municipalities. The mobile company also harnessed its facilities in 12 cities and municipalities in Cavite with more expansions earmarked in the near future.
Sun Cellular has continually invested in building the latest GSM network to bring the best quality mobile communication. In Metro Manila alone, Sun Cellular has built over 240 cellsites and is still growing. In addition, it has lined up network expansion in more key cities around the country, proof of its effort to bridge communication among Filipinos anywhere.
The companys move to double the number of its existing cellsites is in partnership with Ericsson and Alcatel, two of the biggest network infrastructure providers in the world. In Visayas and Mindanao, Ericsson and Sun Cellular have embarked on an impressively rapid infrastructure rollout.
Aside from strengthening infrastructure for optimum mobile communications experience, Sun Cellular is continually devising ways to give incentives to its growing subscribers like free load allocations, value-packed SIM and reload cards, the lowest postpaid plan at P250, flexible monthly service fee consumption for post-paid subscribers, and discounted and even free phone unit!
