Clark-based Active Alliance suspends mfg operations

-
Active Alliance Inc. (AAI) has suspended its electronics manufacturing operation due to uncertainties in the industry, in the process allowing it to explore other lucrative business ventures.

In a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange, the Clark-based AAI cited expected uncertainties in the electronics industry in the coming months as the reason behind its decision to cease operations. It, however, did not provide other details.

Formed in 1999, AAI has been engaged in the manufacture of electronic devices, specifically the assembly of printed circuit, which is the backbone of electronic devices.

AAI was conceptualized in line with the growing demand for electronic products such as computers and telecommunications equipment and other opportunities presented by the strategic outsourcing of electronic manufacturers.

The company’s expertise is in providing PCB (printedcircuit board) requirements of original equipment manufacturers and third party manufacturers. PCB is classified under the semi-conductors and electronics sector of the electronics industry.

PCB applications extend to computers, consumer electronics, and telecommunication devices. Prior to the suspension of its operations AAI aims to be a significant PCB assembler in Asia with a reputation for reliability, excellent quality, and flexibility to adapt to the requirements of its clients.– Zinnia dela Peña
