A popular trade show on unique and amazing business gift items is being geared up for the influx of corporate buyers who are hard pressed to beat the Christmas rush.
The show, dubbed Corporate Giveaways 2003 September Edition, kicked off yesterday at the Megatrade Hall 1, 5th Level, Bldg B of SM Megamall, Mandaluyong City.
This 16th annual buyers shows also features promotional ideas, advertising specialties, merchandise incentives, premiums and other marketing tools in the form of innovative gifts and customized corporate presents.
Scheduled up to Sept. 20, the three-day show opened with "Trends in Corporate Wear," a fashion show by the Uniform Manufacturers Association of the Philippines, and followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony and tour of the exhibits.
Proudly and marvelously showcased are very novel and highly useful gifts made of various interesting materials that can carry the buyers corporate or product brand name and logo and serve as an effective tool in establishing market presence at a more personal level.
This new marketing trend stemmed from the Filipinos penchant for gift-giving as a cultural practice, especially during the Christmas season and other special occasions.
"Thus, the market for business gifts continues to grow and so does the number of suppliers, forcing us to stage two successive exhibitions of corporate giveaways this year to accommodate new players and buyers," said Lynn Z. Romero, president of event organizer Worldexco.
The Corporate Giveaways 2003 Sept. Edition is a sequel to the one held last June at the Dusit Hotel Nikko, Makati City. This is the first time for this annual event to be held twice in a year.
Consequently, Corporate Giveaways has succeeded in reaching over a hundred thousand corporate buyers through the years as it showcases many new products and innovative gift ideas in every exhibit.
