A time for soul searching

The Lenten season is a time for reflection and taking stock. Not only is the concluding aggression of Iraq on our minds, but so too is our countrys agonizing journey towards a better life for its 82 million inhabitants.
The reality of death and suffering challenges us to do more to help the needy and those in pain, perhaps rather more than just focus on self-denial through fasting.
We will still carry on with "Isyung kalakalan at Iba Pa" on IBC-13 News from Monday to Wednesday this Lent week (4:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.). The Anti-Money Laundering Act has been passed into law but the worlds self-appointed financial watchdogs have not given us yet a clean bill of health. Watch this update.
