Food exporters set meet

Philippine Food Processors and Exporters Organziation (Philfoodex) members are expected to attend the groups general membership meeting on March 5 at the ABS-CBN Broadcasting Center building on Mother Ignacia, Quezon City.
Special guests during the 1 p.m. meeting to be hosted by the ABS-CBN management, are Zorayda Amellia C. Alonzo, chairman and chief executive officer of Small Business Guarantee and Finance Corp., and Peter Musngi, station manager and vice president of Radio Manila, DWRR and DZMM.
Philfoodex president Jesus T. Tanchanco Sr. said Alonzo will discuss the governments newly-launched P10-billion financing program, as envisioned by President Arroyo, is expected to stimulate local economic activities all over the country.
Philfoodex is the countrys biggest organization of food processors and manufacturers. It has to date some 300 members nationwide.
