Metrobank open for the holidays

Metrobank, the country’s largest bank, has announced that 164 branches of its branches are open for business during the holiday season.

According to senior executive vice president Angelito Villanueva, "The bank has made this an annual service as a way of making Christmas merrier for its depositors and remittance clients. Opening selected branches on traditional non-banking days allows clients to claim their remittances during holidays in December." Christmas is the time Filipinos usually receive money from their loved ones based abroad.

On December 28, 30 and 31, selected Metrobank branches nationwide are open to accommodate deposits and claiming of remittances from abroad. This service is on top of the 598 Metrobank E.T.s and 2,142 BancNet ATMs nationwide from which withdrawals can be made.
