Y-I Leisure Clark, Great Asian ink P500-M deal

Y-I Leisure Clark, Inc. (YILC), a subsidiary of the Hong Kong-based Yats Group of Companies, recently signed a P500-million agreement with Great Asian Development Tech Corp. for the construction requirements of YILCs premier resort, Clearwater Country Club located in the Clark Special Economic Zone.
Clearwater is an exclusive and upscale vacation spot that is touted to be the only one of its kind in Asia. The resort is patterned after the Adirondack mountain getaways in the United States and is complete with lodges, air-conditioned tents as well as facilities for swimming, fishing and boating. Ît is also equipped with a gym, a spa, campfire beach areas, childrens playground and restaurants among others.
Great Asian is one of the top construction firms in the country and is noted for its expertise in design engineering and general construction. It is a member of the BML Holdings Group. Rotary UK, one of the most prominent engineering companies in the world, has also been tapped for the project.
Present during the signing were the firms top executives led by Denny On Yat Wang, YILC chairman, Brian Chew, country manager for Rotary UK,Bienvenido Leopando, Great Asian chairman, and J.M. Enrique Madamba, assistant CEO of YILC. The event was held in The Yats International Wine Club at the Mimosa Leisure Estate in Clark.
