Garbage technology exported to Lebanon

-
A Philippine company, Lacto Asia Pacific Corp. which is known locally for their Happy Soil solid waste management systems will be exporting their equipment and technology to YMCA Lebanon.

This will be the first export of the local garbage systems technology to the international market.

The first shipment will amount to $66,688 and will be followed by two other shipments within a 120-day period.

The equipment order set will include 20 units rotary stainless steel composters with special insulation for winter time garbage, two hammermill/shredders, loading and unloading conveyors, trolley carts, a rotary screener and 22 metric tons of Happy Soil lactobacilli powder with coconut coir dust.

The Lebanese representative of YMCA Lebanon visited last month and saw for himself the working systems at the MMDA Pasig Mangahan facility, as well as several village type eco-centers such as the Barangay Philamhomes and Barangay Pamplona II centers in Quezon City and Las Piñas.

They reviewed the production facilities of Lacto Corp. and guided the production staff on the wintering requirements of solid waste systems needed in Europe, the Americans and the Middle East countries.
