US-based eTelecare signs agreement with DigitelOne

US-based eTelecare International, a world-class call center company, has inked an agreement with DigitelOne for the installation of a communications backbone necessary for the operation and delivery of eTelecare’s call center services to local companies and those in the South Asian region.

DigitelOne is the data communications arm of the Gokongwei-owned Digital Telecommunications Phils. Inc. (Digitel).

The agreement calls for the provision of superior digital telephony and Internet bandwidth redundancy that will enable eTelecare to receive and transmit voice and data communications either from its clients or its customers simultaneously and in real time.

Aside from a tried and tested business model developed by eTelecare that easily rivals the competition in terms of cost efficiency, the US firm now has the integrity, security, and reliability of its call center services in handling customer communications in such touch points like voice, web chat, e-mail VOIP (voice over Internet), and facsimile that will greatly depend on DigitelOne’s ability to secure fast and efficient connectivity using a broad spectrum of enhanced data communications platforms to as wide a network as possible.

"We have chosen DigitelOne to be our partner in our operations in the Philippines because of its technical superiority over all other options considered. We strongly feel that our almost relentless demand for datacom connectivity could be well provided for and even redundantly supported by DigitelOne," eTelecare vice president Patrick Bevill said.

eTelecare believes that more companies are now looking for new ways to understand and reach their customers in today’s competitive and challenging marketing environment. This growing concern is more emphasized now with the integration of customer relations management (CRM) systems into the mainstream/core business of companies today, at least for those who want to stay ahead of the competition.

"We truly welcome and are even more excited to provide eTelecare with our broadband data infrastructure. This only proves that DigitelOne’s services and facilities are truly world-class and that we are committed to continually develop them to support the data and communications requirements of both local and international businesses," DigitelOne corporate solutions division vice president Patrick Palacios said.
