Eastern Telecoms is currently the leading broadband provider in the country today at 77 mbps. "Its pioneering efforts in broadband products and services particularly ADSL (asymmetric digital subscriber lines) and Gigabit Internet service has strongly placed in the position as far as the Internet is concerned," Joevel E. Rivera, ETPI VP and Internet business unit head said.
"We are proud to be part of CommAsia 2001. ETPI’s strength in the Internet particularly our broadband services, will be showcased in this event," he added.
CommAsia 2001 is a joint project of the Philippine Electronics and Telecommunications Federation (PETEF) and IIR Exhibitions. It will be held coinciding with the National Electronics and Telecommunications Week (NETW). There will be a total of 214 exhibitors from 18 countries, which includes the United States.
