In line with its commitment of helping the less privileged members of the community it serves, the new Outback Restaurant in Alabang will hold a by-invitation-only Charity Night on May 7 (Monday) together with the Alabang Ladies International Group for the benefit of the Elsie Gaches Foundation for Handicapped Children and Abused Women.
The fund-raising activity is a tradition observed by Outbacks over 600 branches in the world. The restaurant will be open to the public stating on May 8.
Outback Alabang is a free-standing structure reminiscent of Outbacks branches in the United States. It is conveniently located beside the Ayala Alabang Town Center and offers guests free ample parking space.
"Now our guests from the area need not travel far to enjoy the Outback dining experience. Our restaurant will serve the neighboring villages and offices in the area," Outback Alabang managing partner Donald Tenorio said.
Outback Alabang will be open for dinner only from Monday to Saturday starting 4 p.m. and for lunch and dinner on Sunday from 11 a.m.
The 190-seater branch comes with Outbacks trademark Australian-inspired memorabilia and aboriginal art, blond woods, and cozy lighting that offer diners the perfect venue for hanging out with family and friends.
A wide selection of high quality and great-tasting Aussm tucker (food) are offered on the menu to satisfy ones taste and budget headlined by its quality steak selections made from the highest quality Australian and USDA grain-fed beef.
Outback Restaurants concept derives from the rugged, rural areas of Australia. The successful dining chain was founded by Chris Sullivan, Robert Basham and Timothy Gannon who were inspired by the sprawling, rustic country. With corporate offices in Tampa, Florida, Outback Restaurants phenomenal growth has spawned global expansion amidst tight competitions in the rapidly expanding casual dining, themed restaurant arena.
In the Philippines, Outbacks branches in Glorietta IV in Makati City, Libis in Quezon City and Alabang Town Center are owned and managed by Bistro Holdings Corp.
