The Philippine Nutrition Technologies, Inc. (PNTI), the joint venture firm of Pure Foods Corp. and Great Wall of Taiwan, recently launched its flagship feeds product, the Runt Saver, in ceremonies held at the Pure Foods Feed Mills in Hacienda Luisita, Tarlac City.
The product launch also marked PNTI’s formal entry into the feeds industry.
The Runt Saver has a formulation that assures the runt piglets to regain its normal weight and to create additional value at the fattener stage by saving one or more runt.
The team up between Pure Food and Great Wall Enterprise Co., Ltd. in April this year has brought together Great Wall’s state-of-the-art technology in the production of specialty feeds for piglets and Pure Foods’ expertise as a major player in the commercial feeds business in the country.
The Pure Foods Feeds Division and the Asia Nutrition Corp. (ANTC), a subsidiary of Great Wall, have formed a strategic alliance in a bid to gain a dominant presence in the country’s young animal feeds industry.
Present during the launch were PNTI chairman of the board and Pure Foods president Renato R. Montemayor, ANTC president Victor Wu, Pure Foods vice president for Feeds and Livestock Benedicto G. Tope, and PNTI operations manager Samuel Niou.
The combined strength of two first rate international companies which share the same global vision, business philosophies and organizational values is expected to boost the company’s growth and success.
The other products of PNTI are Vibrant 28, Lagwin, Starmeal, Plus 2, Vitrolyte, and Starmix.
