DLSU-St Benilde offers courses on building and property management

A post baccalaureate professional diploma program in "Building & Property Management" is being offered by the De La Salle University -- College of Saint Benilde in consortium with the Philippine Association of Building Administrators Inc. (PABA), conducted twice a week, Wednesdays and Fridays, 5-8:30 p.m. at the 9th floor of the new Angelo King International Center building of DLSU-CSB, corner Arellano and Estrada Sts., Manila.

This professional diploma program is a series of six specialized module courses of 12 sessions each, for a duration of 42 hours each module, is designed for the trade professionals and for those who would pursue a career in the building and property management industry in the Philippines, and for those managing and administering commercial, industrial, institutional, educational, recreational, residential and the condominium development projects.

Each participant earns a Post Baccalaureate Diploma upon completion of the required six module courses. The completion of each course in turn enables the participant to earn a Certificate of Achievement for each module. Participants who successfully complete the program are recognized trade professionals of the building and property management industry in the Philippines and the title of "Certified Property Manager" (CPM). The module courses are presented by facilitators of the Philippines' top practitioners, highly qualified and experienced trade professionals who have the specialization in every facets of the industry sector.

The six module courses are: Module 1 -- "The Field of Building & Property Management" (Feb. 23-March 31, Wed/Friday 8-8:30 p.m.); Module 2 -- "Leasing & Marketing for Building & Property Managers" (April 12-May 19. Wed/Friday 8-8:30 p.m.); Module 3 -- "Operations & Maintenance of Building Engineering Systems" (June 7-July 14, Wed/Friday 8-8:30 p.m.); Module 4 -- "The Legal Aspects of Building & Property Management" (July 26-Aug. 25, Wed/Friday 8-8:30 p.m.); Module 5 -- "Real Estate Investment & Finance for Building Managers" (Feb. 29-April 6, Tuesday/Thursday, 8-8:30 p.m.), and Module 6 -- "Risk Management & Insurance for Building Managers" (April 25-June 1, Tuesday/Thursday, 8-8:30 p.m.).
