Autodesk unveils tools to visualize projects
Autodesk Inc., a leading global supplier of computer design applications and digital content creation tools, has unveiled two integrated tools that will allow building professionals and their clients to visualize their most ambitious projects in photo-realistic, three-dimensional environment.
Tay Wijoyo, Autodesk product manager for the Philippines, Indonesia and the South Asia-Pacific Region, said that the two visualization software will give architects, engineers and those in similar fields, the power to communicate their designs more creatively and with greater realism, ease, and accuracy.
The 3D Studio VIZ Release 3, for instance, features a number of innovations such as a new and customizable user interface, enhanced compatibility with Audodesk's Design 2000 family of products including the newly-launched Architectural Desktop Release 2 (ADT R2), as well as a bold new technology for browsing and acquiring design content from the Internet.
On the other hand, the enhanced version of AutoCAD ADT R2, supports the entire architectural design process -- from conceptual 2D and 3D models, through design development to full construction documents.
With more than 50 enhancements to the first release, ADT R2 offers more design options and ease-of-use, thus helping reduce project costs and delivery times.
ADT R2, likewise, lets design teams, customers and other users collaborate easily over the Web by opening drawings, styles, content and applications from anywhere on a network.
"This new release extends the production drafting and design functionality of ADT R2 with special features tailored to meet the needs of architects, engineers and other building professionals, "Tay stressed.
