Isra Wal Mi’raj hindi national holiday – Malakanyang
MANILA, Philippines — Idineklara ng Malacañang na Muslim holiday ang Isra Wal Mi’raj ngayong Lunes, Enero 27.
Pero agad ding nilinaw ni Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin na hindi ito national holiday at ang Muslim holiday ay gugunitain sa Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) at iba pang Muslim areas na nasa Muslim Code.
“Muslims in other areas where it is not observed as a holiday such as NCR are excused from reporting for work,” ani Bersamin.
Nakiisa si Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. nitong Linggo sa Muslim Filipino community sa pag-obserba ng Al Isra Wal Mi’raj.
“Let this observance also serve as a reminder that success is the reward of diligence and amity, and that sacrifice, persistence, and faith can guide us towards realizing our shared purpose in building a peaceful and progressive nation for all,” anang Pangulo.
Inilarawan ng Pangulo ang Al Isra Wal Mi’raj, ang “Paglalakbay at Pag-akyat sa Langit ni Propeta Muhammad,” bilang simbolo ng espirituwal na katatagan at debosyon kay Allah.
