OVP execs nagpunta sa 27 lugar para sa disbursement ng intel funds
MANILA, Philippines — Ibinunyag ng Commission on Audit (COA) na nagtungo ang mga opisyal ng Office of the Vice President sa may 16 hanggang 27 lugar upang magsagawa ng disbursement sa umano’y kinukuwestyon na confidential funds ng OVP.
Ito ay sinabi ni COA lawyer Gloria Camora sa Kongreso batay sa naisumiteng liquidation documents sa COA ng OVP.
“Even if you give them a helicopter, I really think they can’t do it all in one day. I suppose you know the physical impossibility of the delivery and disbursement of the cash. It looks like this is from the north and up to the south of the country. And it happened multiple times. There was once 21 times. And the list goes on,” pahayag ni 1Rider Partylist Rep. Rodge Gutierrez.
Anya, sa ipinakitang slide ay isang DepEd official disbursement officer na may pangalang Edward Fajarda ay nagtungo sa 16 na localities mula Luzon, Visayas hanggang sa Mindanao noong March 2023.
Sa kaso naman ng OVP, isang special disbursing officer na si Gina Acosta ay nag-submit ng kabuuang 103 disbursements mula sa mga indibidwal bilang payment of rewards at pagbili ng mga supplies sa isang araw para lamang maipakita sa COA na sila ay gumastos ng kabuuang P15.8 milyon sa isang araw lamang.
