Bloodless anti-drug war ni Pangulong Marcos: P49.82 bilyong droga nasamsam, 800 napatay
MANILA, Philippines — Umaabot sa P49.82 bilyong halaga ng droga ang nakumpiska habang mahigit 800 ang napatay sa ilalim ng ‘bloodless’ anti-drug drive ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
Inihayag ng Quad Committee na ang P49.82 bilyong halaga ng droga na nakumpiska sa ilalim ng administrasyon ni PBBM ay mula lamang sa taong 2022-2024 kumpara sa madugong giyera sa droga ng administrasyon ni dating pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na nakasamsam ng P25.82 bilyong droga na ikinasawi ng higit 20,000 drug personalities mula 2016 hanggang 2018.
Sinabi ni Quad Comm overall Chairman Rep. Robert Ace Barbers na ang nasabing accomplishment ng administrasyon sa ‘bloodless drug war’ ay mula sa opisyal na rekord na nakuha ng Quad panel mula sa Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), Philippine National Police (PNP), National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) at iba pang mga ahensiya ng gobyerno.
“Those statistics clearly refutes the claim by some quarters that the previous bloody drug war was a more effective approach or strategy than the bloodless anti-drug campaign. While both administrations aimed to reduce drug-related crimes, their methods and resulting outcomes reflect significant strategic and operational differences,” ayon sa Mindanao solon.
