Pangulong Marcos nadismaya na ‘di kaibigan turing sa kanya ni VP Sara

MANILA, Philippines — Inamin ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. na naloko o nabudol siya ni Vice President Sara Duterte.

Ito ang sinabi ng Pangulo sa Kapihan with Media sa ASEAN Summits sa Vientiane, Lao People’s Democratic Republic sa pahayag ng Bise Presidente na hindi na sila magkaibigan.

Sinabi ni Marcos na nakadidismaya na hindi kaibigan ang turing sa kanya ni Duterte.

“That’s a good question. I don’t know anymore. I’m not quite sure, I understand. I’m a little dismayed to hear that she doesn’t think that we are friends. I always thought that we were. But maybe i was deceived,” ayon pa kay Pangulong Marcos.

Kasabay nito nagpaliwanag din si Pangulong Marcos kung bakit hindi si Duterte ang itinalagang caretaker ng bansa habang nasa Lao.

Aniya, hindi na bahagi ng gabinete si Duterte bagama’t nasa gobyerno siya ay humiwalay na  sa administrasyon kaya unfair naman kung papatawan pa ang Bise Presidente ng trabaho na hindi bahagi ng kanyang tungkulin.

“So, she’s not part of the --- really, the day-to-day running of what we are doing. So, it would be unfair to ask her --- to impose that duty on her since that’s not part of her work now,” pahayag pa ni Pangulong Marcos.

Matatandaang nagbitiw na bilang kalihim ng Department of Education si Duterte.

Sa kabila nito, hindi naman aniya siya nawalan ng tiwala kay Duterte.

“No, it’s a very practical reason actually. That’s how I came to that conclusion. If you noticed that the membership of the Executive Committee --- are all part, now, they’re all members of the Cabinet, up to now.  So, that would seem to be the obvious way to handle it,” sa tanong sa Pangulo kung nawalan na siya ng tiwala sa Bise Presidente.
