Marcos pirmado P20k na incentive, 'gratuity pay' sa government workers

MANILA, Philippines — Nilagdaan na ni Pangulong Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. ang ilang kautusang magbibigay ng P20,000 service recognition incentive at gratuity pay para sa mga manggagawa sa gobyerno — kabilang na ang mga kontraktwal.

Ito ang nilalaman ng limang-pahinang Administrative Order 12 na pinirmahan ni Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin nitong ika-7, bagay na magbibigay ng one-time na P20,000 SRI para sa government employees sa executive branch.

"Qualified for the PhP20,000 SRI are civilian personnel in national government agencies including those in state universities and colleges (SUCs) and government-owned or controlled corporations (GOCCs), occupying regular, contractual or casual positions," wika ng ulat ng Presidential Communications Office nitong Martes.

"The incentive will also be given to military personnel of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), uniformed personnel of the Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), and Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP)."

Maliban sa nabanggit, kwalipikado rin para sa P20,000 SRI ang sumusunod na uniformed personnel: 

• Bureau of Corrections
• Philippine Coast Guard
• National Mapping and Resource Information Authority ng Department of Environment and Natural Resources

Dagdag pa ng section 2 ng AO, saklaw ng naturang kautusan kahit ang mga sumusunod na civilian personnel na nagtrabaho sa gobyerno hanggang ika-30 ng Nobyembre:

• regular
• contractual
• casual
• kawaning nagtrabaho ng hkndi bababa sa apat na buwan na may "satisfactory service"

P5,000 pay sa kontraktwal

Sa kahiwalay na AO 13, inaprubahan naman ni Bongbong ang pagbibigay ng one-time gratuity pay na hindi hihigit sa P5,000 para sa mga COS at JO government employees na nagtrabaho nang hindi bababa sa apat na buwan ng satisfactory service as of December 15, pati na yaong mga epektibo pa ang kontrata sa parehong petsa.

"AO 13 stated that COS and JOs of the national government agencies, state universities and colleges and government-owned or -controlled corporations and local water districts are qualified to receive the PhP5,000 gratuity pay," dagdag pa ng PCO.

"Both payments of PhP20,000 SRI and PhP5,000 gratuity pay to all qualified employees shall be given not earlier than December 15."
