QC prosecutor ipinatawag si Duterte matapos 'death threat' vs Makabayan solon
MANILA, Philippines — Inutusan ng Quezon City prosecutor's office si dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na agarang sumagot sa reklamong grave threat at cybercrime charges na inihain laban sa kanya ng isang aktibistang mambabatas.
Matatandaang inireklamo ni ACT Teachers Rep. France Castro si Digong matapos "pagbantaan" ng nauna ang kanyang buhay sa isang programa ng Sonshine Media Network International.
"RESPONDENT/S is/are hereby commanded to appear before the Office of the City Prosecutor, Justice Cecilia Munoz Palma Building (Department of Justice), Elliptical Road, Quezon City [on December 4 and 11]," wika ng subpoena na isinapubliko, Miyerkules.
"This [is in] connection with the preliminary investigation of the abose entitled case, for the purpose of for the purpose of submitted your Counter-Affidavit including affidavit/s of your witness/es and supporting documents, if any."

Ang subpoena ay nilagdaan ni Senior Assistant City Prosecutor Ulric Badiola nitong ika-27 ng Oktubre. Sa kabila nito, ngayon lang ito inilabas sa publiko.
Una nang sinabi ng abogadong si La Viña na maaaring tumaas ng isang degree ang parusa sa dating pangulo lalo na't sakop daw ito ng Cybercrime Prevention Act.

Ito ang unang beses na maisyuhan ng summon si Digong matapos niyang bumaba sa pwesto sa pagkapangulo. Hindi gaya nang dati, wala nang presidential immunity na tinatamasa ang dating presidente.
"Very thankful ako sa Quezon City Prosecutor's Office kasi after three days na na-file namin itong complaint ay umaksyon na sila agad," ani Castro sa isang pahayag.
"Hopefully dumating si dating Presidente Rodrigo Roa Duterte sa preliminary investigation."
