MANILA, Philippines — Umaabot sa 105 caregivers at nurses ang ipinadala ng Department of Migrant Workers sa Japan sa ilalim ng Japan-Philippines Economic Partnership Agreement ng dalawang bansa.

Layunin ng naturang kasunduan na paigtingin ang trade at investment opportunities ng Pilipinas at Japan.

Ayon kay Migrant Workers Undersecretary for Licensing and Adjudication Services Bernard Olalia, ang Pre-Employment and Government Placement Bureau ang nangasiwa sa pagpapadala sa 105 mga caregiver at nurses.

Batay sa datos, simula 2009 hanggang 2023 mahigit 3,000 Filipino caregivers at nurses na ang naipadala ng Pilipinas sa Japan sa ilalim ng naturang kasunduan.

Inaasahan namang kikita ng P100,000 kada buwan ang mga Filipino caregiver at nurse sa Japan.
