Bagyong 'Neneng' posible mag-landfall sa Babuyan Islands o Batanes
MANILA, Philippines (Updated 6:36 p.m.) — Nakapasok na ang ika-14 na bagyo sa Philippine Area of Responibility ngayong tanghali, ito habang nakikita ng PAGASA ang posibilidad na magtaas ng Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal no. 2.
Bandang 4 p.m. nang mamataan ang sentro ng tropical depression 1,030 kilometro silangan ng Extreme Northern Luzon, ayon sa pinakahuling taya ng PAGASA, Huwebes.

- Bugso ng hangin: hanggang 70 kilometro kada oras
- Pagkilos: 30 kilometro kada oras

"The passage of NENENG may bring heavy rains over Northern Luzon beginning Saturday," wika ng state weather bureau kanina.
"Under these conditions, isolated to scattered flooding (including flash floods) and rain-induced landslides are possible especially in areas that are highly or very highly susceptible to these hazard as identified in hazard maps."
Bukas ng umaga pa lang daw o hapon ay may posibilidad nang magtaas ng Signal no. 1 sa silangang bahagi ng Northern Luzon bilang paghahanda sa hanging maaaring umabot sa "near gale strength."
Ayon pa sa huling track at intensity forecast, Signal no. 2 ang maaaring pinakamataas na TCWS na itaas kaugnay ng naturang sama ng panahon.
"On the track forecast, NENENG will make landfall or may pass very close in Babuyan Islands or Batanes," dagdag pa ng PAGASA.
"NENENG is forecast to further intensify while moving over the Philippine Sea and may reach tropical storm category by Saturday. The possibility of further intensification prior to its close approach to Extreme Northern Luzon is not ruled out."
