MANILA, Philippines — Malapit nang makum­pleto ng National Printing Office (NPO) ang pag-iim­prenta sa mga balotang gagamitin sa darating na halalan nang makapagtala ng 94.68% o higit 63 mil­yong balota na nailimbag na.

Ayon kay Comelec Commissioner George Garcia, nitong Marso 31 ay nasa 63,856,233 balota na sa 67,442,616 kailangang balota ang naimprenta.

Halos 179,000 balota ang itinuring na depektibo at kailangang iimprenta muli.

Nasa 72.31% vote counting machines (VCMs) ang handa na para ipamahagi, maging ang 99.54% external batteries, 100% transmission device, at 100% ballot boxes.

Para sa mga Consolidation and Canvassing System (CCS) laptops, nasa 71.73% o 1,172 units ang handa na para ipamahagi sa mga City/Municipal Board of Canvassers, habang 76.54% o 61 ng 81 units sa mga Provincial Board of Canvassers.
