Hiling ng mga pasyente pinagbigyan

MANILA, Philippines — Sinuspinde ng Private Hospital Association of the Philippines (PHAPI) ang PhilHealth holiday na sisimulan sa January 1.

Ayon kay Dr. Jose de Grano, pangulo ng PHAPI, hindi muna nila itutuloy ang planong PhilHealth holiday dahil na rin sa kahilingan ng grupo ng mga pasyente at concerned citizens.

“PhilHealth holiday postponed muna per request of concerned citizen and patient groups so they can be informed well and adviced in what to do during holiday,” sabi ni De Grano.

Una nang nagplano ang mga private hospitals na ipatupad ang PhilHealth holiday mula January 1-5 kung saan hindi muna sila tatanggap ng PhilHealth deductions para sa health services.

Ito’y bilang suporta na rin aniya sa mga pagamutan na nagpoprotesta sa mga claims na hindi pa rin nababayaran ng PhilHealth.

Matatandaang ang mga PhilHealth claims ay lumobo sa panahon ng COVID-19 pandemic.

May ilang health ­institutions na rin ang unang nagsabi na target nilang hindi muna tumanggap ng PhilHealth reimbursements matapos na maantala ang pagbabayad sa kanila dahil sa pandemya.
