MANILA, Philippines — Binuweltahan kaha­pon ng Malacañang si Vice-President Leni Robredo matapos nitong akusahang bigo ang drug war ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.

Sinabi ni Presidential Spokesman Salvador Panelo sa media brie­fing na ang failure ay ang pagtatalaga kay Robredo bilang co-chair ng ICAD.

Aniya, maraming high-value drug suspects ang na-neutralized

“Palagay ko yung failure yung pag-upo niya,” wika ni Panelo. “Ang problema ilang araw lang siya nakaupo doon, ang dami na niyang sinasabi. Wala naman siyang expertise.”

“Paano mo ipaliliwanag yung na-dismantle, natuklasan na drug fac­tories? Paano mo ipaliliwanag yung na-confiscate na mga shabu? She (Robredo) did not consider thousands of families destroyed by reason of drug syndicates,” giit ni Panelo.

Idinagdag pa ng presidential spokesman na mali ang computation ni Robredo na 1 percent lamang ang accomplishment ng gobyerno sa drug war.

“Meron pa siyang binabanggit na mara­ming pamilya ang naapektuhan... She did not even consider the thousands of families which became dysfunctional by reason of the drug syndicate. Paano mo ipapaliwanag ‘yung maraming na-confiscate na naipasok na shabu,” dagdag pa ni Panelo.

“I think she just wants to be relevant. Marami nang drug-free barangays. Paano mo masasabing failure? Hindi totally eradicated kasi maraming pumapasok, pero nahuhuli pa rin natin. Kaya nga hindi tumitigil si Presidente,” dagdag pa ng spokesman ng Pangulo.
