AFP Chief, 50 pa nanumpa kay Duterte
MANILA, Philippines — Nanumpa kahapon si Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Chief of Staff Gen. Benjamin Madrigal Jr. at 50 pang mga bagong promoted na heneral at mga flag officers kay Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa Rizal Hall sa palasyo ng Malacañang kamakalawa ng hapon.
Ayon kay AFP Public Affairs Office Chief Col. Noel Detoyato, kabilang sa 50 mga heneral ay 4 Lieutenant Generals at Vice Admiral, 17 Major General at Rear Admiral at 29 Brigadier Generals at Commodore.
Nagkaroon rin ng tradisyonal na courtesy call ang 50 heneral at flag officers na ginanap sa AFP Commissioned Officers Club sa Camp Aguinaldo nitong Martes ng umaga.
Sa nasabing okasyon ay si AFP Vice Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Salvador Melchor Mison Jr. ang kumatawan kay Madrigal.
