Pulis na sinabuyan ng taho ginawaran ng medalya
MANILA, Philippines — Tumanggap ng Medalya ng Papuri si Police Officer 1 William Cristobal, ang pulis na tinapunan ng taho sa istayon ng tren, kanina sa Camp Crame.
Nangyari ang insidente nang sabuyan ni Jiale Zhang, isang Chinese national, si Cristobal alas-otso y media ng umaga nang pagbawalang magpasok ng inumin sa MRT-3 Boni Avenue station sa Mandaluyong, Sabado.

Agad namang dinala si Zhang sa PNP-RMFB Detachment sa Shaw Boulevard Station at kinasuhan ng direct assault, disobedience to an agent of person in authority, at unjust vexation noong ika-9 ng Pebrero.
Humingi naman daw ng tawad ang dayuhan sa mga otoridad at pinalaya.
Inirerekomenda na ng National Capital Region Police Office na maideklarang "undesirable alien" ang dayuhan na maaring gamiting basehan ng Bureau of Immigration para siya'y ma-deport.
Pinaalalahanan naman ni Department of Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro Locsin Jr. na maging mahinahon ang publiko sa gitna ng insidente lalo na't maraming overseas Filipino workers sa Tsina.
Maaari raw kasing gantihan o kuyugin ang mga Pinoy doon dahil sa mga "xenophobic" na pahayag.

Nagpaalala naman ang pamunuan ng MRT na mahigpit na ipinagbabawal ang pagpapasok ng anumang inumin sa loob ng tren.
"[I]t should also be noted that even before the recent ban of bottled water, drinks and liquids, consumption of unsealed food and drinks are prohibited inside trains and stations as this can cause inconvenience, accident and delay to our operations," sabi sa isang statement.
Matatandaang naglabas ng direktiba ang Philippine National Police na nagbabawal sa pagpapasok ng anumang likido sa loob ng MRT-3, LRT-1, at LRT-2 dahil sa mga pangamba sa seguridad kaugnay ng pagsabog sa Jolo, Sulu.
Maaari kasing mailagay sa mga likido ang kemikal na nitroglycerin para makagawa ng "liquid bomb."
"Liquid bomb is composed of nitroglycerin. Nitroglycerin is composed of four components: carbon, nitrogen, hydrogen and oxygen. It's component in some relatively stable solid explosives, like dynamite. But, as a liquid, it is extremely dangerous and volatile," sabi ng DOTr MRT-3 sa kanilang Facebook post.
