Maritime case ng Pilipinas vs China dedesisyunan sa Hulyo 12
MANILA, Philippines – Inaasahan ng pamahalaan na sa Hulyo 12 na magpapalabas ng ruling o desisyon ang arbitral tribunal sa ilalim ng United Nation Convention on the Law of the Seas kaugnay sa isinampang maritime case ng Pilipinas laban sa China.
Kaugnay nito, positibo si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na magiging pabor sa Pilipinas ang magiging desisyon ng international tribunal kaugnay sa pinag-aagawang mga teritoryo sa West Philippine Sea.
“For the West Philippine Sea, we remain optimistic that the judgment will be in our favor and if it is not, we will accept it as part of the country that honors international commitment by the UNCLOS,” wika pa ni Pangulong Duterte sa Philippine Air Force ika-69 anibersaryo ng Philippine Air Force sa Clark, Pampanga kahapon.
Inamin ni Pangulong Duterte, hindi nakahanda ang Pilipinas na pumasok sa anumang giyera sa panahong ito.
Let’s talk, we are not prepared to go to war, war is a dirty word. We will proceed accordingly after we shall have the copy of arbitral judgment. We will decide for the better interest of the country in the meantime we are just hopeful,” dagdag pa ni Duterte.
