Red tape hadlang sa investments – Romualdez

MANILA, Philippines – Dapat siguruhin ng gobyerno ang pagkakaroon ng “predictable business environment” kung saan ang kontrata sa pribadong sektor ay nirerespeto at ang mga regulasyon ay hindi binabago sa kalagitnaan.

Ito ang pahayag kahapon ni senatorial candidate at Leyte Rep. Martin Romualdez kaugnay ng paghihikayat sa mga investor na mamuhunan sa mga industriya, agrikultura at iba pang negosyo sa bansa.

Iginiit rin ni Romualdez ang pagpapadali at pagtanggal sa red tape sa pagkuha ng required business permits at licenses.

Mahalaga rin ang kapayapaan at seguridad laban sa mga criminal sa pagkakaroon ng magandang business environment, aniya.

“If we want to encourage entrepreneurial activities in the countryside, then we should also encourage that enterprises are amply protected by authorities from criminal activities, such as those engaged in kidnapping for ransom and extortion,” wika ni Romualdez.

“We must aim for economic growth that benefits everyone. By creating jobs and enhancing the competitiveness of our economy, we can reduce poverty that lies at the root of criminality and rebellion,” dagdag ng mambabatas.
