PNoy aminado na may katiwalian pa rin sa gobyerno

MANILA, Philippines – Inamin ni Pangulong Benigno Aquino III na may katiwalian pa rin sa gobyerno sa kabila ng kaniyang kampanya laban dito.

"We admit that there are still instances of corruption. There are some agencies that have so much rooted corruption in them," pahayag ni Aquino sa isang forum ng semiconductor and electronics industry leaders.

"But, I guess, the challenge is for us to continue weeding out these people and not just tolerating the situation," dagdag niya.

Ilan sa nakikitang paraan ng pangulo upang mawakasan ang katiwalian at red tape sa mga tanggapan ng gobyerno ang performance-based bonus system at ang isinusulong na pagpapattas ng sahod.

Tiniyak din ni Aquino na walang palalampasin ang kaniyang administrasyon laban sa katiwalian kahit ang kaniyang mga kaalyado.

"If you read today’s papers, you will see that even our allies are being made to account by the Ombudsman under the various courts. That, hopefully, will send a message to everybody that corruption really is not tolerated," paliwanag niya.

Humingi rin ng tulong si Aquino sa pribadong sektor upang masugpo ang katiwalian.

"The red tape, anything made by man can be undone by man. Suggestions are very much welcome as to how to further improve the system."
