Bongbong inaming tinanggihan ang alok ni Binay

MANILA, Philippines — Inamin ni Sen. Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos na tinanggihan niya ang alok ni Bise Presidente Jejomar Binay na maging running mate niya sa 2016 elections.

"Simple lang. The political divide was a little too wide for us to be able to reach in every level," pahayag ni Marcos.

Nitong Lunes ng gabi ay inihayag ni Marcos ang kaniyang pagtakbo bilang bise presidente.

Wala pa namang running mate ang senador, ngunit kung papapiliin ay nais niyang makatambal si Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte.

Bukod kay Marcos, nais din ng kaniyang kapwa senador at kaalyado sa Nacionalista Party (NP) na si Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano na maging running mate ang alkalde.

Tatlo mula sa NP ang tatakbong bise presidente kabilang si Sen. Antonio Trillanes na suportado naman ang pagtakbo ni Sen. Grace Poe.

Makakalaban nina Marcos, Cayetano, Trillanes sina Sen. Francis Escudero, Camarines Sur Rep. Leni Robredo, habang hindi pa naman desidio si Sen. Gregorio "Gringo" Honasan .
