Deportation order hihilinging ibasura

MANILA, Philippines - Ipapabasura ng isang Korean businessman ang kanyang deportation order sa Bureau of Immigration na umano’y pinaniniwalaang  bahagi ng harassment ng kanyang dating abogado.

Ayon kay Redentor Viaje, private counsel ni Kang Tae Sik, magsusumite sila ng motion for reconsideration upang alisin ang kanyang  deportation na inaprubahan ng BI board of commissioners noong Hunyo 26.

Nabatid na ang board of commissioners na pinangungunahan ni BI Commissioner Siegfred Mison ay sumang-ayon sa petition ni Atty. Alex Tan, na naging consul­tant at business adviser ng export-import com­pany, ni Kang.

Nag-ugat naman ang deportation order ni Kang bunsod na rin ng kasong paglabag sa  Batasan Pambansa 22 o bouncing check case  na isinampa ni  Tan sa Manila Regional Trial Court.

Gayunman, maaari namang  magsumite ng  motion for reconsideration sa board of commissioners si Kang sa loob nang tatlong araw mula ng maibaba ng BI ang kautusan.

Sinabi naman ni Viaje na ang kasong bouncing check laban kay Kang ay paso na at dinismis na noong 1994 ni Manila RTC Judge Adelina Calderon-Bargas kasabay ng  pag-aalis ng arrest warrant laban sa Koreano.
