Fil-Am Robert Lopez binati ng Malacañang

MANILA, Philippines - Binati kahapon ng Malacañang ang Fil-Am composer na si Robert Lopez sa pagkapanalo nito sa 86th Oscar Awards para sa “Let it Go” sa pelikulang Frozen ng Walt Disney animated movie.

Sinabi ni Presidential Spokesman Edwin Lacierda, ipinagmamalaki ng Malacañang na isa na namang Pinoy ang nakilala sa buong mundo matapos itong parangalan bilang Best Original Song category sa 86th Oscar Awards.

Tinalo ni Lopez ang Happy ng Despicable Me 2 at ang The Moon Song ng Heart ang Ordinary Love para sa pelikulang “Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom”.

Naunang nanalo ang composition ni Lopez na ‘Let It Go’ bilang best original song sa Critics Choice Awards at nominated din sa Golden Globes noong Enero.
