MANILA, Philippines - Niyanig ng magnitude 4.4 na lindol ang bahagi ng Negros Occidental, kahapon ng umaga.

Ayon sa Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS), naitala ang lindol sa layong 10 kilometro hilagang-silangan ng San Carlos City at naramdaman ito ganap alas-9:38 ng umaga.

May lalim ang lindol na 10-km kung saan naramdaman ang intensity 4 sa Cebu City, Intensity 2 sa Ioilo City at intensity 1 sa Canlaon City.

Tectonic ang origin ng lindol at wala namang naitalang pinsala, nasawi o kayaâ€™y nasaktan sa nasabing pagyanig.
