Pananatili pa ni CGMA sa Veterans, aprub sa DILG
MANILA, Philippines - Payag ang Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) at Philippine National Police (PNP) na palawigin ang pananatili ni dating Pangulong Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo sa pagkaditine sa Veterans Memorial Medical Center (VMMC) para sa kanyang seguridad.
“She does not have to be confined, but taking into consideration other factors like security in her daily trip to the hospital, a decision made by the DILG and PNP that she could stay at the hospital for the duration of her therapy,” pahayag ni Dr. Nona Legaspi, director ng VMMC.
Sinabi naman ni Dr. Antonio Sison, isang government orthopedic surgeon, ang kanyang pananatili sa VMMC ay kailangan para sa patuloy na monitoring sa karamdaman ni CGMA.
Una nang giniit ng Comelec prosecutors na mailipat na sa selda si CGMA dahil wala na naman itong sakit at doon manatili dahil sa kasong electoral sabotage.
