- Butch M. Quejada -

MANILA, Philippines - Pabor ang ilang multi-national business organizations sa gusto ng House Committee on Ways and Means na bawiin ng Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) ang kontrobersyal na revenue memorandum circular nila.

Sa pinagsama-samang position ng Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI); Tax Management Association of the Philippines (TMAP); Management Association of the Philippines (MAP); Employers Confederation of the Philippines (ECOP); Philippine Exporters Confederation, Inc. (PHILEXPORT), at Financial Executives Institute of the Philippines (FINEX), nababahala ang mga ito sa magiging epekto ng RMC 40-2011 dahil puwersahan umano silang magbigay ng Supplemental Information Return (SIR) bilang bahagi ng annual income tax returns ng bawat taxpayers.

Sinabi nina Batangas Rep. Hermilando Mandanas, chairman ng nasabing komite, Valenzuela Rep. Magtanggol Gunigundo, Navotas Rep. Toby Tiangco at Isabela Rep.
