MANILA, Philippines - Bumuti na umano ang kalagayan ni dating Pangulo at ngayo’y Pampanga Rep. Gloria Arroyo.
Batay sa inilabas na medical bulletin ng kanyang mga doktor, sinabi ng orthopedic surgeon na si Dr. Mario Ver na hindi na gumalaw ang titanium implant na ikinabit sa batok ni Arroyo.
“The former President has had remarkable improvements of her neurologic status. She no longer suffers from neck pain, shooting pain through hand arms and hand, feels no more weakness or numbness in her upper extremities, her original complaints before surgery,” ani Ver.
Noong Martes umano pumunta si Arroyo sa St. Lukes Medical Center para sa kanyang post-operation checkup.
Ayon naman sa director ng Institute of Radiology ng ospital na si Dr. Bernie Laya nakakakita sila ng senyales na lumalaki na ang buto ni Arroyo.
“The halo grace was removed three weeks ago, and has now been downgraded or reduced to a less rigid brace,” ani Laya.
Binigyan umano si Arroyo ng ergocalciferol at calcitriol upang masolusyunan ang kanyang vitamin D deficiencies. Mayroon din siyang chronic magnesium replacement.
