MANILA, Philippines - Isang araw bago manumpa sa kaniyang tungkulin bilang presidente ng bansa, pinangalanan na kahapon ni incoming President Benigno Simeon “PNoy” Aquino III ang mga magiging miyembro ng kaniyang Gabinete na pinangunahan ni Atty. Paquito “Jojo” Ochoa Jr. bilang Executive Secretary.
Mananatili naman si Alberto Romulo bilang Foreign Affairs Secretary; Cesar Purisima (Department of Finance); Leila de Lima (Department of Justice); Voltaire Gazmin (Department of National Defense). Si Gazmin ay dating hepe ng Philippine Army at PSG commander ni dating Pangulong Corazon Aquino.

Uupo bilang head ng Presidential Management Staff si Julia Abad na nagsilbing chief of staff ni Aquino sa Senado habang si Edwin Lacierda ang Presidential Spokesman.

Wala pang itinalaga si Aquino sa Customs at DILG na napaulat na naunang hiniling ni Vice President Jejomar Binay.
Ayon kay Aquino, siya muna ang pansamantalang uupong secretary ng DILG pero bibitawan niya ang nasabing posisyon sa sandaling may mapili na siya.
