Itinalaga kahapon ni Pangulong Arroyo si dating PNP chief Avelino Razon Jr. bilang deputy director general ng National Security Council (NSC).

Ayon kay Executive Secretary Eduardo Er­mita, pinalitan ni Razon si retired Gen. Victor Mayo na inatake sa puso ka­makailan.

Inihayag din ni Ermita ang pagtatalaga kay dating PNP chief Arturo Lomibao bilang Under­secretary sa Office of the Presidential Anti-Terrorism Action Group.

Itinalaga din ni Mrs. Arroyo si Camilo Montesa bilang assistant secretary sa Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace Process habang si Genaro Emeterio naman ay bilang assistant secretary sa DILG. (Rudy Andal)
