Operatiba sa Subic shabu bust pinapurihan

Pinapurihan ni dating SBMA chairman, Sen. Richard Gordon ang mga ope­ ratiba ng Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) at Presidential Anti-Smuggling Group (PASG) sa pagka­kasabat ng humigit kumu­lang na P4.62 billion halaga ng ilegal na droga kamaka­wala. 

“Without the diligence of these brave men, the menace of illegal drugs would have spread further and eroded the society more,” wika ni Sen. Gordon.

Una nang pinarangalan ni Gordon ang PASG at SBMA habang binigyan diin din nito ang SBMA Law Enforcement Department (LED)sa pagiging instru­mento nito sa pagkaka­sabat ng ilang tangkang pagpuslit ng mga illegal na droga sa Subic at sa hindi nila pagpatangay sa su­hulan.

“We can see how profitable this operation is,” anya. “If somebody can offer P50 million, it is so difficult for somebody who is out there to refuse such an offer,” sabi ng senador.

Nabatid naman kay SBMA Administrator Ar­mand Arreza, binigyan ng SBMA board of directors ng promosyon ang 8 miyembro ng SBMA-LED na  nakasa­bat sa 8 kahon ng pinani­ni­walaang droga na dinis­karga diumano ng isang Anthony Ang mula sa bar­kong Taiwanese F/B Shun Fa Xing. 

Kaugnay nito, pinuri rin ni Arreza ang mabilis na responde ng PASG na naging kaagapay ng mga operatiba ng Subic sa pag-raid ng inuupahang warehouse ni Ang.
