 A. Office of the Ombudsman

 The lawyers of the Office of the Ombudsman led the public prosecutors, including: 

1. Jovencito Zuño of Batangas was appointed Chief State Prosecutor in 1997. He rose through the ranks of the National Prosecution Service, starting as a special counsel in the City Fiscal’s Office in Batangas in 1975.

2. Dennis Villa-Ignacio, is the Ombudsman Special Prosecutor.
