Sa Arrest At Torture Ng Erap-5: 8 ISAFP men sibak!
June 16, 2006 | 12:00am
Sinibak kahapon ang group commander ng Intelligence Service of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (ISAFP) at pitong tauhan nito kaugnay sa isinasagawang imbestigasyon sa mga ito dahil sa illegal arrest at pag-torture umano sa limang miyembro ng Union of Masses for Democracy and Justice (UMDJ) noong nakalipas na buwan.
Restricted to quarters si Lt. Col. Henry Robinson Jr., commander ng Military Intelligence Group (MIG) 15 at ang pitong tauhan nito habang sumasailalim sa Pre-Trial Investigation sa Judge Advocate General Office (JAGO) kaugnay sa kasong paglabag sa Articles of War (AW) 96 o conduct unbecoming of an officer and a gentleman at AW 97 o conduct prejudicial to good order and military discipline.
Bukod dito, kinasuhan ng illegal arrest at frustrated murder din si Lt. Col. Robinson at mga tauhan nito sa Office of the Ombudsman dahil sa ilegal na pag-aresto at pag-torture kina UMDJ chairman Virgilio Eustaquio, PO3 Jose Curameng, Dennis Ibona, Jun Cabauatan at Ruben Dionisio noong Mayo 22 sa Kamuning, Quezon City.
"Lt. Col. Robinson and his men was recommended to face pre-trial investigation of the JAGO as a matter of procedure and restricted to quarters so he will be available for investigation," ayon sa isang military source.
Inakusahan ng Erap-5 ang ISAFP na dumukot at nag-torture sa kanila matapos pagbintangang lider umano ng Special Operations Group ng NPA si Dionisio na may misyong likidahin si Pangulong Arroyo.
